Discussion of “Moistening by Pungent Medicine”

Abstract：Through retrospecting the origin and development, the article analyzes the mechanism of “moist-ening by pungent medicine” insightfully. Essentially,its mechanism is that the pungent medicine has the moving and dispersing function,and it could remove blockage due to excess pathogens,such as exterior pathogens,phlegm-fluid retention,blood stasis and dry pathogen,to promote the generation of the yin fluid and yang qi,and therefore pungent medicine could restore the transportation and distribution of body fluids to treat dry diseases.
