Experimental Study on Anticoagulation Effect of Shuizhi

Abstract：Objective:To observe the effect of Shuizhi on the hemorheology condition and blood coagulation system in normal and hypercoagulable animals. Methods:After mice were treated with the different agents , tail-cutting method and the capillary tube method were used to measure bleeding time (BT) and coagulation time (CT),blood sample was taked from extracted eyeball to measure the prothrombin time (PT),activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT),thrombin time (TT) and plasma fibrinogen (FIB),intravenous injection of ellagic acid was applied,BT and CT were measured. After rats were treated with different agents,intravenous injection of ellagic acid was applied,APTT,PT,TT and FIB were measured. Results:Shuizhi can prolong BT and CT of normal and hypercoagulable mice,and can prolong PT and APTT of normal mice,and can reduce blood and plasma viscosity and can prolong PT,APTT and TT of hypercoagulable. Conclusion:Shuizhi can improve hemorheology and the function of blood anti-coagulation.
