Clinical Observation of 30 Cases of Chronic Heart Failure Treated by Xiaoqinglong Decoction

Abstract：Objective:To observe effects of chronic heart function(CHF) treated by Xiaoqinglong decoction. Method:60 cases of CHF patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group 30 cases in each group. Control group was treated by conventional western medicine ,and treatment group treated by Xi-aoqinglong decoction. We observed left ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV),left ventricular end systolic volume(LVESV),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),efficacy of TCM syndromes of two groups before and after the treatment. Results:In treatment group LVESV,LVEDV lower,LVEF decreased. Compared with before treatment and after treatment in the control group,there were significant differences(P<0.05). TCM syndromes and clinical efficacy were better than those of the control group. Conclusion:Xiaoqinglong decoc-tion in treating patients with chronic heart failure had significant effect.
