Discussion of the Pathogenesis of Urticaria Based on the Theory of “Essence not Store in Winter,Warm Disease Will Happen in Spring”

Abstract：In traditional Chinese medicine,urticaria is treated in accordance with acute spring febrile disease according to its characteristics and clinical manifestation. Based on the theory of “Essence not stored in winter,warm disease will happen in spring”,deficiency of kidney essence is suggested to be the inner patho-genesy of urticaria,and “wind heat attack,disease involving both defense aspect and nutrient aspect” is the direct mechanism. Identifying the mechanism of urticaria can provide theoretical guidance for clinical pre-vention and treatment.
