Theoretical Discussion of Concepts of Emotions

Abstract：Five emotions,seven emotions and emotions are all used to describe people’s emotional activi-ties. While five emotions emphasize feelings of physiological activities ,seven emotions belong to etiology. The differentiation between them is “normality” and “abnormality”. Five emotions mean physiological reactions while seven emotions mean pathological changes. “Emotions”,which are the generalization of five emotions and seven emotions,refer to all emotional activities. Generally,“emotions” also have both physiological and pathological meanings. We can define their connotation and denotation ,and clarify the differences and rela-tionships between them by analyzing their concepts.
