Discussion on cause and treatment of hyperlipemia
Abstract：It was believed that hyperlipemia was caused by hypofanction of the liver,spleen and kidney. Itsmain pathogenesis was damp-retention due to hypofunction of the spleen. According to its clinical manifestation, hyperlipemia was divided into three types:deficiency syndrome, deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality, excess syndrome. The author pointed out that invigorating the spleen for eliminating dampness and phlegm was the basic treatment.
