Abstract：The concept of blood stasis causing wind syndrome hasn't been set up till now,which is caused by the seriou slowness of the progress of TCM theoretical study. The fact of blood stasis causing endogenous wind can be proved by acient literatures, modern clinical studies, classify of medicines and modern experimental studies. So,the concept of blood stasis causing wind syndrome should be set up soon in order to substantiatece and complete the TCM theoretical system and provide theoretical basis for the treatment of endogenous wind syndrome by promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis. The concept,correlating,theoretical basis and function of blood stasis causing wind syndrome are discussed at last.
