Abstract：Indirubin,a kind of bis-indole alkaloid,is derived from the traditional Chinese medicine Indigofera tinctoria L.,and exhibits anti-tumor activities against various cancers,especially chronic myelocytic leukemia.This paper described the structural modification of indirubin and relative anti-tumor mechanisms from the cellular level,cancer-related proteins,targets,and signaling pathways,providing a basis for the development of novel indirubin derivatives with excellent anti-tumor activity.
