Abstract：Honeysuckle as a Chinese medicinal herb with both edible and medicinal value,contains various effective ingredients such as volatile oils,flavonoids,organic acids,triterpenoid saponins,etc.It has many pharmacological effects such as antibacterial and antiviral,anti-inflammatory and antipyretic,antioxidant,and immune regulation,and has broad development prospects and high economic value.The research focuses on three aspects:the active ingredients,main pharmacological mechanisms,and current industrial development status of honeysuckle.A systematic review and summary of relevant studies were conducted,aiming to provide scientific basis for the deep development and utilization of honeysuckle and the high-quality development of the industry.
