Abstract：Rhodiola crenulata,known as the"Ginseng of the Plateau",boasts a long history of folk and clinical applica-tions and is considered one of traditional Chinese medicines(TCMs)that are both medicinal and edible,possessing rich medicinal value and potential for application in various fields.Its chemical constituents primarily encompass flavonoids,vola-tile oils,phenols,phenylpropanoids,and others,conferring upon it a diverse range of pharmacological effects including anti-hypoxia,antioxidant,anti-aging,anti-tumor,prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,as well as diabetes.This article summarized the research progress on the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of Rhodiola crenulata,aiming to provide a reference for its further development and rational application.
