Abstract：The application of microbial fermentation technology in the extraction of plant active ingredients is to destroy the plant cell wall with the help of enzymes produced by microorganisms during the fermentation process,which will lead to the release of plant active ingredients,or to increase the content of target ingredients through the metabolism of microbial enzymes,which will in turn improve the extraction efficiency.This paper mainly reviewed the research of microbial fermentation technology in the extraction of plant active ingredients at home and abroad in recent years,and looks forward to the prospect of its application,aiming to provide a reference for the efficient extraction and research of plant active ingredients.
