Abstract:Breast cancer, characterized by its high invasiveness and recurrence rate, has emerged as a major disease that severely threatens women's health.Research indicates that B7-H4 is abnormally overexpressed in the majority of human tumor tissues, particularly in breast cancer, and is closely associated with cancer progression and poor clinical prognosis. It not only binds to potential receptors on T cells to exert immunosuppressive effects but also enhances the tumor cells'own ca-pabilities in proliferation, invasion, metastasis, stemness, and anti-apoptosis,thereby promoting tumor progression. However, the regulatory mechanisms remain unclear. This article reviewed the research progress on B7-H4 in breast cancer, aiming to provide new directions for future studies.
