Research progress on molecular mechanisms of Chinese materia medica targeted therapy for malignant melanoma

Abstract：Malignant melanoma(MM)originates from melanocytes and exhibits high aggressiveness,with increasing incidence and mortality rates in recent years.Chinese materia medica(CMM)and their bioactive constituents have demon-strated unique therapeutic characteristics in intervening or treating MM through molecular mechanisms,such as interfering with signaling pathways,cell cycle arrest,promoting apoptosis,and angiogenesis.This article surveyed domestic and interna-tional literatures,and commented on and analyzed the main molecular mechanisms of MM oncogenesis,as well as the molec-ular mechanisms and application of CMM-based targeted therapy for MM.The aim is to provide a scientific basis for clinical treatment of MM and improving prognosis.
