Chemical constituents from Galla chinensis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the chemical constituents of Galla chinensis.Methods Compounds were purified using MCI GEL CHP 20P,ODS-A-HG,and Sephadex LH-20 chromatography,and structurally characterized by NMR,HRESIMS,and UV spectroscopy.Results Fifteen compounds including two new compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of the 50％ethanol extract of G.chinensis.Their structures were identified as gallichinglyester A(1),gallich-inglyester B(2),dimeric gallic acid methyl ester(3),para-dimeric gallic acid methyl ester(4),meta-dimeric gallic acid methyl ester(5),para-dimeric gallic acid ester(6),meta-dimeric gallic acid ester(7),gallic acid(8),gallic acid methyl ester(9),para-digallic acid ester(10),gallic acid n-butyl ester(11),methyl p-hydroxy benzoate(12),ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate(13),2,5-dimethyl-7-hydroxyflavone(14),and 5,7-dihydroxyflavonol(15).Conclusion Compounds 1 and 2 are new,whereas 3～7,14,and 15 are reported here for the first time from G.chinensis.
