Research progress of drugs and mechanisms of action to reverse Cetuximab resistance

Abstract：Cetuximab is mainly used in clinical practice for the treatment of gastrointestinal tumors such as colorectal cancer and gastric cancer.However,with the continuous deepening of clinical applications,the issue of resistance to Cetux-imab has become increasingly prominent,greatly limiting its widespread use.Even if patients are effectively treated with Cetuximab,the remission period lasts up to 12～18 months,after which almost all patients develop secondary resistance,leading to treatment failure.Therefore,in-depth exploration of the resistance mechanism of Cetuximab and finding effective reversal drugs are of great significance for clarifying the optimal combination therapy and targeted treatment mode,and im-proving the therapeutic efficacy of tumors such as colorectal cancer.
