Abstract：The prevalence of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease(AD),amyotrophic lateral sclero-sis(ALS),and multiple sclerosis(MS)is increasing annually,yet effective therapeutic drugs remain elusive.Masitinib,o-riginally developed as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor for cancer treatment,has recently shown potential neuroprotective effects in various neurological disorders.This review summarized the research progress of Masitinib in the treatment of AD,ALS and MS.
