Abstract:Objective In this study, the efficacy of natural products in the treatment of cholestasis was compared by re-ticulated Meta-analysis to find the most effective natural product for the treatment of cholestasis within the natural products studied. Methods PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,CNKI,Wanfang, and VIP databases were searched, and articles that met the requirements were included according to the inclusion criteria.Network Meta-analysis was performed with Stata 17.0 soft-ware.Results Initially,244 articles were included, and finally,57 articles were included, involving 891 experimental animal models(102 mice and 789 rats),and all the articles were at a certain risk of bias. The results of Meta-analysis indicated that, compared with the model group, each natural product showed a significant therapeutic effect on biliary stasis after treatment,ALT(I2=87.0%,95%CI=-1.94~-1.56,P<0.001),AST(I2=82.5%,95%CI=-2.00~-1.61,P<0.001),TBIL(I2=84.3%,95%CI=-2.11~-1.70,P<0.001),TBA(I2=84.1%,95%CI=-2.56~-2.03,P<0.001),to observe the differences in the ef-ficacy of different natural products on cholestasis when intervening from two factors,ALT and TBIL,the therapeutic effects were ranked from the best to the worst, with rhododendron and paeoniflorin in the first place. Conclusion Each of the natural products studied showed some therapeutic effect on cholestasis, and in a comprehensive analysis from the point of view of both ALT and TBIL indicators, emodin and paeoniflorin were found to have the most prominent therapeutic effect.
