Based on the"quality-quantity"double standard method for the difference between the Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus and Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus

Abstract：Objective To establish a"quality-quantity"double standard control method for Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus and Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus by using reference medicinal materials as control substance and don't inde-pend on a variety of reference substances.Methods The characteristic chromatograms of Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus and Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus were established by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)with reference me-dicinal materials as reference substances,and it was compared with the tested traditional Chinese medicinal materials to i-dentify the authenticity of the medicinal materials.Using"schisandrin A"as reference material,the relative quantitative comparison of the chemical components of the common characteristic peaks of Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus and Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus was carried out.Results Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus contains more schisandrin and schisandrin B.Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus contains more schisantherin A.Conclusion The method can identify Schisandra chinensis clearly and quickly without many reference substances and the relative content of each characteristic peak can also be calculated.It also distinguishes the Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus and Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus,and provides reference for the quality control of Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus and Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus.
