Abstract：The demand for exceptional talent in the pharmaceutical industry is becoming increasingly prominent,given the constantly evolving landscape of the pharmaceuticals industry.As the core course of pharmaceutical specialty,the teaching quality of polymer science in pharmaceutics plays a vital role in cultivating top-notch talents.The current teaching situation of polymer science in pharmaceutics and the importance of teaching reform are the main topics of this review.It aims to develop students'capacity for innovation and enhance their practical operation skills through the reform and optimi-zation of teaching methods,safeguard measures,and evaluation systems and so on.The ultimate goal is to produce top-notch pharmaceutical talent with superior overall quality,fulfilling the demands of society for highly skilled pharmacy profession-als.
