Establishment of a method for the detection of Burkholderia cepacia in oral solution and the challenge experiment of survival ability of contaminated bacteria

Abstract：Objective To establish a method for the detection of Burkholderia cepacia in oral solution and an evaluation method for the anti-contamination ability of the product.Methods Four types of Burkholderia cepacia model strains were used to conduct method applicability experiments on six oral solutions,and were inoculated into six oral solu-tions.The survival of Burkholderia cepacia in challenging samples was continuously monitored and the anti-contamination a-bility of the products was evaluated.ResuIts Burkholderia cepacia were inoculated to 100 mL TSB medium and 1/10 TSB medium in the applicability test.The method was feasible,and the product had no obvious antibacterial activity against Burk-holderia cepacia.The results of challenge experiment test showed that after 6 months of inoculation with Burkholderia cepa-cia,viable bacteria could still be detected in some products,and the survival rate and stress resistance of different strains were different.ConcIusion Burkholderia cepacia has strong stress resistance,low survival conditions,easy to be detected by routine inspection methods,and can survive for a long time in oral solutions,with a high risk.It should be used as a routine test item for oral solutions to strengthen the control of the production process.
