Abstract：This article elaborates the connotation of vocational competence of pharmaceutical engineering and technical talents in universities from the dimensions of patriotism and professional mission,interdisciplinary composite knowledge,excellent abilities and qualities,analyzes the existing problems in the development of students'vocational competence at present.In accordance with the new requirements of the development-oriented funding system,we should first strengthen ideological assistance,take patriotism as the guide,and enhance professional values,then carry out academic assistance and expand students'career development knowledge through curriculum construction and finally explore the path to enhance the vocational competence of disadvantaged students in pharmaceutical engineering majors in universities through multi-party assistance and innovative platforms to improve students'core skills.
