Research progress of arginine metabolism in tumor development

Abstract：Arginine is an essential amino acid in the human body.In recent years,the study on the mechanism of arginine in the development and progression of tumors has become a hotspot in the field of biomedical research.Research has found that arginine-mediated metabolic reprogramming plays an important role in promoting tumor growth and evading immune surveillance.In addition,arginine deprivation therapy can effectively inhibit tumor growth.This article has summarized the current understanding of the biological importance of arginine in aspects such as tumor cell growth,metastasis,and immune evasion.
