Considerations of common problems on the development of chewable tablets

Abstract：This review lists the technical requirements of chewable tablets issued by some domestic and foreign regulatory agencies,and analyzes the common problems in chewable tablets registration and application materials combined with the actual drug evaluation.This paper aims to propose the key issues that should be considered in the development of chewable tablets,so as to avoid or reduce the occurrence of adverse events in clinical use,improve the acceptability of patients,and ensure the safety,effectiveness and quality control of drugs.
