Abstract：Voltage-gated proton channel(Hv1)is a highly proton selective channel that is expressed and performs physiological functions in nervous system.Hv1 regulates cytosolic pH and participates in the production NOX-dependent reactive oxygen species by transporting protons across membranes,and then plays a role in the regulation of neurological diseases.This review summarized the expression and distribution of Hv1 in the nervous system and the regulation of neurological diseases.
