Abstract:Malignant tumor is one of the major diseases threatening human health. The resistance of tumor cells to chemical drugs is an important reason for the failure of chemotherapy. The mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in tumor cells are complex, and many of them involve mutations and expression changes of genes and proteins.Recently, alternative splicing isomers have been found to be one of the new mechanisms leading to chemotherapy resistance in tumors. In order to fully understand the impact of alternative splicing on cancer biology and treatment development,we summarized the role of alternative splicing in regulating the acquisition of chemotherapy resistance in cancer cells, and analyzed and summarized these molecular regulatory splicing events to provide new ideas for coping with tumor chemotherapy resistance.
