Application of ionic liquids in pharmaceutical research

Abstract：Because of the unique physical and chemical properties of Ionic liquids(ILs),ILs received more and more study and application in various fields including green chemistry,clean energy and lubricants. In recent years,the applica-tion of ILs in pharmaceutical research received more and more attentions. This paper systematically reviewed about resear-ches and applications of ILs in pharmaceutical field,including active pharmaceutical ingredient and drug delivery system, and the prospect of ILs in pharmaceutics was explored.
