Preparation of Sodium Faropenem Orally Disintegrating Tablets by freeze - dried methods

Abstract：Objective To optimize the formulation of Sodium Faropenem Orally Disintegrating Tablets and detect the dissolution in vitro. Methods Sodium Faropenem Orally Disintegrating Tablets was prepared by freeze - dried methods, and the formulation was optimized with the disintegrating time,friability and dissolution rate as parameters by orthogonal de-sign. Results The tablets prepared by optimum formulation were well - tasted,disintegrating fast,and had low friability. The dissolution was up to 95% within 3 min in vitro. Conclusion Sodium Faropenem Orally Disintegrating Tablets can be prepared successfully using the formulation in this research.
