Determination of icariin in Baicaoyuan Enhance lmmunity Capsule by HPLC

Abstract：Objective To establish an HPLC method for the determination of icariin in Baicaoyuan Enhance Immunity Capsule.Methods An Agilent C1 8 (4.6 mm ×250 mm,5 μm)column was used.The mobile phase was methanol -water (65∶35),the flow rate was 1 .0 mL·min -1 ,the detecting wavelength was 270 nm.Results The linearity range of icariin was 22.3 ~557.5 μg·mL -1 (r =0.999 6).The average recovery of icariin was 98.04%.Conclusion The method was simple,reliable,sensitive,repeatable,and can be applied to the quality control of Baicaoyuan Enhance Immunity Capsule.
