Research progress and clinical applications of tumor associated macrophage

Abstract：Macrophage which surrounds tumor cells is termed tumor associated macrophage(TAM). TAM takes part in tumor initiation,invasion,metastasis and suppression of anti - tumor immune response. The amount of TAM,to a certain de-gree,can predict the prognosis of cancer patients. So far,some new medicine had been used in clinical treatment targeting TAM.
