Determination of paeoniflorin in Sanqi Jiegu Pills by RP - HPLC

Abstract：Objective To establish a RP - HPLC method for the determination of paeoniflorin in Sanqi Jiegu Pills. Methods The method was performed on a Kromasil 100 - A C18(4. 6 mm × 250 mm,5 μm)column with acetonitrile- 0. 1% phosphoric acid(12:88). The column temperature was 30 ℃ . The detection wavelength was 230 nm. Results There was a good linear relationship between the absorption area and the concentration in the range of 0. 118 2 ~ 1. 182 0 μg for paeoniflorin. The average recovery of standard addition were 99. 12% ,RSD = 0. 66%(n = 6). Conclusion This meth-od was simple,accurate and can be used for the quality control of Sanqi Jiegu Pills.
