Abstract：Levobupivacaine is a new,long - acting,local anaesthetic drug belonging to the amino amide group. It is the S - enantiomer of bupivacaine. Levobupivacaine has less neurotoxicity and cardiotoxicity which maKes it more widely used in clinical application. This article summarized the research advances in the clinical application of levobupivacaine.
