Research progress of chimeric antigen receptor modified T cells in malignant tumor

Abstract：Chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)based immunotherapy has been an emerging therapeutic modality for malig-nant tumor. By the use of genetic modification techniques,effector T cells have better properties with regard to targeting,Killing activity and durability than immunocytes of conventional application. And compared to other T cells immunotherapy strategy, CAR - T cells can overcome the local immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and breaK the immune tolerance in host. It is believed that CAR will bring promising news to cancer patients,as the researches continue and the techniques improve.
