Research progress on polyploid breeding of Umbelliferae

Abstract：Polyploid plays an important role in plant breeding,due to the features of great vegetative organs,strong re-sistance,high content of medicinal ingredients and so on. This paper introduced the research progress of multiploid breeding of five main kinds of Umbelliferae plants;It included the principle,methods,morphological characteristics and identification for artificial induction of multiploid;It puted forward a few key problems of multiploid breeding of Umbelliferae plants and its research prospect.
