Determination of the dissolution of Valsartan Capsules by HPLC

Abstract：Objective To establish a method for the determination of dissolution of Valsartan Capsules by HPLC. Methods A Thermo Hypersil Gold C18 Column was used with the mobile phase of acetonitrile - water - acetic acid (500:500:1). The determination wavelength was 250 nm. The dissolution of Valsartan Capsules was determined by HPLC with phosphate buffer solution as dissolution medium. Results The linear range of valsartan was 3. 27 ~ 81. 67 μg·mL - 1 (r = 0. 998 9,n = 5). The average recovery was 99. 8% and the RSD was 0. 14%. Conclusion The method was specific, accurate and stable,and can be used for the dissolution determination of Valsartan Capsules.
