Abstract：Oxidative sress plays an important role in pathological process of many cardiovascular diseases,including hy-pertension and atherosclerosis. Endothelin,a vasoconstrictor peptide,plays an important role in the occurrence and develop-ment of cardiovascular disease. This paper summarized the role of oxidative stress and endothelin in hypertension,intending to provide the basis for the subsequent systematic literature research and also to explore the treatment of pathological mecha-nisms and development of new drugs and related diseases provide new ideas.
