Determination of quercetin in Mulberry Concentrate Granules by HPLC

Abstract：Objective To establish an HPLC method for the determination of quercetin in Mulberry Concentrate Gran-ules. Methods Quercetin was separated on Krcomasil C18(4. 6 mm × 200 mm,5 μm)column,the mobile phase was meth-anol - 0. 4% phosphate(43:57)with the flow rate of 1. 0 mL·min - 1 and the detection wavelength was 360 nm. Results The linear range of quercetin was 0. 003 424 ~ 0. 017 12 μg(r = 0. 999 7). The average recovery was 98. 16% and the RSD was 1. 6%(n = 6). Conclusion The method was simple,accurate and reproducible,and it could be used for the determi-nation of quercetin in Mulberry Concentrate Granules.
