Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of different cultivation types on paclitaxel content in Taxus chinensis by HPLC. Methods Venusil ASB C18(4. 6 mm × 250 mm,5 μm)column was adopted with acetonitrile as mobile phase A, with 0. 02mol·L - 1 ammonium acetate solution(adjusted pH 5 with acetic acid)as the mobile phase B,gradient elution; The flow rate was 1. 0 mL·min - 1;The detection wavelength was 227 nm. The contents of paclitaxel in yew branches, trunks, roots of different cultivars were determined by the established HPLC method. Results The contents of paclitaxel in each part of Taxus chinensis A were significantly higher than that of Taxus chinensis B,and both of highest content were in roots. Conclusion The effect of different cultivation types on paclitaxel content was comparatively large, and the cultivation type of Taxus chinensis A was better than that of Taxus chinensis B.
