Detection for tetanus antibody titer by ELISA and SNT

Abstract：Objective To analyze the relationship between the two methods,and evaluate the reliability and accuracy of enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Methods In this paper,the potency of tetanus antibody was compared which was determined by the ELISA and serum neutralization test(SNT)and statistical analysis of experimental data was a-dopted. Results The results showed that the potency of tetanus antibody which was determined by ELISA and SNT had no significant difference. The RSD of experimental data measured by ELISA was lower than 10% . Conclusion The experi-mental data were true and reliable,and ELISA can be used to detect the tetanus antibody titer.
