Abstract：Durrently,research of probiotics in the treatment of oral diseases had become a hot topic at home and a-broad. More than 700 species of human oral bacteria had been found,many of them belonged to probiotics. Recent studies had found that probiotics played a positive role in prevention and treatment of oral diseases,such as dental caries,periodon-tal disease and oral halitosis through the influence of oral microorganisms. The paper summarized the research progress of o-ral probiotics,reviewed and outlooked systematically the research and application of probitics in the prevention of oral disea-ses.
