The effects of dexrabeprazole sodium on reflux esophagitis model of rats

Abstract：Objective To investigate the protective effect of dexrabeprazole sodium on reflux esophagitis model of rats. Methods Reflux esophagitis induced by pylorus ligation was treated with dexrabeprazole sodium for injection by intrave-nous injection for one time. The esophagitis index and suppression rate,volume of gastric juice and activity of pepsin were determined. Results The esophagitis index,volume of gastric juice and activity of pepsin in rats pretreated with dexrabe-prazole sodium(4,2,1 mg·kg-1,iv)were significantly lower than those of the control group. Conclusion Dexrabe-prazole sodium had a remarkable protective on reflux esophagitis model of rats.
