CIinicaI research on the effect of Rungutong for treating avascuIar necrosis of the femoraI head

Abstract：Pathological mechanism of femur head necrosis is ischemia caused by blood circulation disorder of the femo-ral head. To observe the effect of Rungutong for treating avascular necrosis of the femoral head,and sufficiently educe the ef-ficacy of activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis of traditional Chinese medicine and improve the blood circula-tion of femoral head,and preferably bring into full play the superiority of traditional Chinese medicine in treating this dis-ease. We observed 60 patients with this disease treated with Rungutong with 3 months as a treatment course. The function, symptoms and X—ray manifestations were observed before and after treatment. The results showed that total effective rate was 95%.
