Abstract：Pbjective To evaluate the edible safety of pine pollen as health food. Methods According to Health Food Function Eualuation procedure and Inspection Method specification,released by Ministry of Public Health,the safety and tox-icology were tested as health food. ResuIts Acute toxicity experiment showed that the product was a non—toxic level;Ge-netic toxicity experiment showed that pine pollen did not see the genetic toxic effect;30 days feeding experiments of rats showed no exception. ConcIusion Pine pollen can safely take.
