Research progress and medication on elderly hypertension

Abstract：Objective To probe the new progesss on the diagnosis and treatment of elderly hypertension. Methods To summarize the research progress on disease rate,clinical feature,clinical pathophysiology,diagnosis and treatment of eld-erly hypertension by consulting the literatures for the past few years and combining with clinical experience. Results and Conclusion The treatment of elderly hypertension should be care not only the therapy of hypertension but also the control of other symptomss and the metabolic effect of drugs.
