Determination of ferulic acid in Bidouyan Oral Solution by HPLC

Abstract：Objective To determine the content of ferulic acid by HPLC in Bidouyan Oral Solution. Methods The determination was carried out with Shimadzd C18 column. The mobile phase was methanol-1%acetic acid solution(30:70) and the flow rate was 1. 0 mL · min-1 . The column temperature was 30 ℃ and the detective wavelength was 321 nm. Results The content of ferulic acid can be determined by HPLC. The linear concentration range of these compound was 10. 22~102. 20 μg · mL-1 . The average recovery was 98. 84%. Conclusion The method was simple and accurate and can be used to control the quality of Bidouyan Oral Solution.
