OrtHogoNal test for optimizatioN of extractiNg procedure from Dioscorea nipponica

Abstract：Objective To select the optimal extracting technology for the extraction from Dioscorea nipponica. MetHods The procedure was selected with the contents of diosgenin and total saponins from Dioscorea nipponica by orthogonal test design. Results The optimized extract technology was:Dioscorea nipponica was extracted by ten times of the amount of 60% alcohol for three times,each time for 1 hour. CoNclusioN The extracting technology was simple and reasonable,stable and feasible,can be used as the extracting procedure for the extraction from Dioscorea nipponica.
