Study on preparation technology of 4 - Chloro -3 - Methoxy -2 - Methylpyridine N - Oxide

Abstract：Objective To optimize the preparation technology of 4 - Chloro - 3 - Methoxy - 2 - Methylpyridine N -Oxide's. Methods We chose toluene as solvent,oxygen phosphorus chloride was a bit too much,ended the reaction with sodium hydroxide directly,then extracted hierarchically,evaporated the solvent for the production. Results Through the op-timization of 4 - Chloro - 3 - Methoxy - 2 - Methylpyridine N - Oxide's preparation technology,we reduced the amount of phosphorus oxychloride,shortened the reaction time to 2 h,cuted down the reaction pH close to neutral. Conclusion The preparation technology reduced the pollution to the environment and the production cost effectively,and improves the eco-nomic benefits.
