Abstract：Objective To synthesize of apixaban. Methods Apixaban was synthesized from p - anisidine by substitu-tion,cycloaddition,reduction and amination. Results Apixaban was synthesized with inexpensive and readily available cat-alyst and the total yield of the target compound was 10% . Conclusion The process was suitable for industrial production.
