Research progress on dually modified active targeting liposomes

Abstract：Active targeting liPosomes Play imPortant roles in targeted drug delivery system. However,conventional singly modified active targeting liPosomes have some disadvantages,such as unsatisfied targeting efficiency and low cellular uP-take. Researchers are exPloring liPosomes modified with different two or more kinds of targeting molecules and other syner-gistic molecules. This article reviewed the research Progress of dually modified targeted liPosomes,which were divided into three grouPs:dual ligands modified liPosomes,sPecific ligand and cell Penetrating PePtide co-modified liPosomes,and dual cell Penetrating PePtides modified liPosomes. According to the analysis,we concluded that dually modified liPosomal thera-Peutics had suPeriority in targeting sPecificity,targeting efficiency,drug uPtake,cohesion to the target,stability in blood flow,and distinguishing effects in crossing barrier systems.
