Determination of isopropanol in calcium polycarbophil by gas chromatography

Abstract：Objective Using GC method for the determination of isoProPanol in calcium PolycarboPhil. Methods U-sing Head-SPace GC method,the column was ZB-624 caPillary column;The carrier gas was nitrogen and FID detector was adoPted. Results IsoProPanol had a good linearity in the range of 50~5 000 μg·g-1 ,the linear equation was Y= -2 933+4 947X(r=0. 999 66)(n=5). The average recovery was 94. 6%,and the RSD=1. 79%. The detectability was 2. 5 μg·g-1. Conclusion The method was sensitive and accurate,and suitable for the determination of isoProPanol in cal-cium PolycarboPhil.
