Determination of menthol in Qingxuan Tablets by GC

Abstract：Objective To establish the gas chromatograPhy assay for the determination of menthol in Qingxuan Tab-lets. Methods The gas chromatograPhy was equiPPed with FID detector,and a DB-WAX(30. 0 m × 0. 32 mm,0. 25μm) eaPillary column was used,the column temPerature was 110℃,the sPlit ratio was 50:1. Results The linear range of men-thol was 0. 04~1. 00 mg· mL-1(r=0. 999 4),and the average recovery rate was 99. 44%,RSD was 1. 2%(n=6). Con-clusion The established method was simPle,accurate and better rePeatable,which can be used for the quality control of Qingxuan Tablets.
